Cinnamon Apple Chops

4 boneless pork chops, 3/4-in. thick |
vegetable oil |
1 tsp. black pepper |
1/2 c. chicken broth |
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice |
1-1/2 c. applesauce |
2 Tbsp. cinnamon red hot candies |
Directions:
1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brush chops lightly with oil and brown chops on both sides, turning once, about 3-4 min. Sprinkle chops with pepper, add broth and lemon juice. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer gently for 5 min. or until internal temperature on a thermometer reads 145°F, followed by a 3-min. resting time. To serve, top with applesauce and cinnamon candies.
